Using the Unity-based VP platform nXhuman,nXimena supports students in healthcare professions by better preparing them for client engagement experiences. Our platform is comprehensive, including a user experience that involves gamification techniques and simulated environments to engage the student, and programs that model physiological, psychological, and sociocultural processes.
To address critical service needs of Latinx survivors and calls for innovative practices with this vulnerable population, as well as contribute to the academic exploration of benefits and affordances of learning in immersive environments, nXimena, the virtual survivor will be a VP to help professional providers and IPV survivors’ informal support networks learn appropriate means of and practice ways to managing potentially sensitive bilingual and bicultural encounters.
